Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending and exhibiting at the International Work at Height Seminar 2025 at the iconic Guildhall, City of London, proudly representing RAIL Rope Access as an IRATA member company.

It was a brilliant day of knowledge sharing, industry insights, and connecting with fellow professionals who are just as passionate about raising safety standards across the work-at-height sector.

Some standout moments from the day included:

  • A strong opening from Oliver Sanandres, Director of Health and Safety, City of London Corporation
  • Expert insight on anchor selection by Jonathan Capper, Executive Chair, IRATA Internationa
  • A thought-provoking session on industry collaboration by Suzannah Nichol OBE, CEO of Build UK
  • A powerful presentation from Lee Sandy, Borough Commander, London Fire Brigade
  • And an impressive live emergency rescue demonstration from the London Fire Brigade — safety excellence in action!

It was also a fantastic chance to reconnect with friends, partners, and clients. Special thanks to:

– Alex Blake (London Borough of Camden)

– Chris Morris MCIOB (Wates Group)

– Paul Bussey (CDM & Building Regs Consultant)

– Phil Boyce & Adian Morgan (Hydrajaws)

– Craig Shaw Tech IOSH (HighQ) — excited to plan future IOSH training

– Sue Roffe (BESAFETY LIMITED) & Anthony Pearson (Abaris International) — great having you on the stand with us!

A huge thank you to IRATA International for organising such a valuable and well-run event. It was a pleasure catching up with Sheila Kondaveeti, CEO, and Mark Lea, Head of Technical.

Proud to be part of an industry that continues to evolve, innovate, and prioritise safety above all.
