As a proud member of Build UK, we stay up to date with the latest industry developments.
One of the key challenges currently facing the sector is the validation of applications for Building Control Approval under the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) process for Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs).

With nearly 30% of applications being deemed invalid, Build UK has provided guidance on the key documents required to improve success rates at Gateway Two. Ensuring compliance with the Building (Higher‐Risk Buildings Procedures) (England) Regulations 2023 is essential for moving projects forward efficiently.

The UK government has pledged an additional £2 million to help clear the backlog of applications, with the BSR aiming to process all applications submitted up to July 2024 by the end of this financial year.

At RAIL, we are committed to following the latest regulations and best practices to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency in every project we undertake.
