At Rope Access in London, safety is the foundation of everything we do. Every project is governed by a rigorous framework of best-practice procedures, internationally recognised standards, and a team culture where no task is more important than the people completing it.
Our Approach to Safe Working
We operate in accordance with IRATA International (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) guidelines. All our operatives hold valid IRATA certification at Levels 1, 2, or 3.
Every team member on site is trained, assessed and competent in their role. Level 3 technicians serve as site supervisors, maintaining direct oversight of all at-height operations.
Before any works commence, we carry out thorough site-specific risk assessments and produce detailed method statements (RAMS) tailored to the unique challenges of each location. Emergency rescue plans are in place on every site, with trained personnel ready to respond.
We work in full compliance with BS 7985 — the British Standard Code of Practice for the use of rope access methods for work on structures. We also work in compliance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
Our health and safety management system is certified to ISO 45001:2018, the internationally recognised standard for occupational health and safety.
We follow a systematic approach to identifying hazards, assessing risk, and continually improving safety performance across the organisation.
