This week, we had the pleasure of attending the CSCS 30th Anniversary Celebration at the stunning Institution of Civil Engineers in London – an inspiring venue for an inspiring milestone.

For three decades, CSCS has been at the forefront of raising standards, improving safety, and championing excellence across the UK construction industry. It was an honour to reflect on that journey and look ahead to the future of skills and safety.

We were privileged to hear insightful speeches from:

  • Dame Janet Paraskeva, Chair of CSCS
  • Katy Dowding, President & CEO of Skanska UK
  • Sean Kearns, Group Chief Executive of CSCS

And a great job by Colin Marrs, Editor of Construction News, who compered the event.

As a proud Build UK member, RAILLTD was delighted to be part of this gathering – and to connect with industry leaders, including Suzannah Nichol, Chief Executive at Build UK.

We’re especially excited about the announcement of the new CSCS App, set to become the industry’s Digital Skills Passport — a major step forward in modernising construction skills management.
