Why choose rope access for roof painting
Most high-rise roofs don’t sit flat with easy edge access. Curved roofs, multiple levels, mansard slopes, parapet returns and steep pitches all push back against MEWPs and scaffolding.
Rope access lets a painter work from a stable position anywhere on the roof, with both hands free for prep tools and a spray or roller. It also lets us paint the parapet edges, abutments and visible high-level steelwork in the same campaign.
IRATA-certified, manufacturer-approved
Every RAIL technician on a roof painting project is IRATA certified and trained on the relevant coating system. Each job runs from a written risk assessment and method statement, with controlled containment for spray work and clear drop zones below.
We supply manufacturer batch records, application reports and photographic documentation to support warranty.
Combined with roof safety and waterproofing
Painting is the perfect time to check the roof properly. Once we’re on the roof, we can also inspect eye-bolts, parapet condition and waterproofing details, flagging any defects in a written report.
Most of our painting projects combine with roof safety upgrades and waterproofing works, all delivered in a single rope access mobilisation.
